Let’s face it, when there is an emergency and help is needed, we have been taught since a young age to dial 911. Be it a bump in the night, fire, vehicle accident, or a financial crime, 911 is always there. However, not all emergencies look like those you will see on COPS.

A Co-Responder program places behavioral health professionals with first responders to properly address the unique nature of some 911 calls. Sheriff Reigenborn recognizes the benefit of these programs and has implemented one for Adams County, so no citizen is left behind. Since the launch of the Co-responder program, there has been notable success in a short period of time
